AUGUST 05, 1962:

Marilyn Monroe's mysterious death is still the subject of theories and discussions.

Empty pill bottles.  Locked windows and doors.  Telephone found in her hand. (Who was she warning?) Overdose, suicide or murder?  Accusations of cover-ups and a botched investigation.  Most of the theories attribute her death to her affairs with the Kennedys or her Mob ties.  These theories are all about the cover-up that took place to mask the real reason behind Marilyn’s death.  The real truth is that Marilyn had recorded a couple of songs: "I Wanna Be Loved By You" and "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" which are actually very good if you can find them and give a listen.  Marilyn was rumored to be about to record a songbook album of the Blues.  She was to have been in session with some of the Blues heaviest hitters.  With her fame and stardom already established in the film world, they dare not let her move into the Blues.  It would have gotten a whole group of Hollywood and movie fans listening to the Blues that would never have found it on their own.
